![]() You might have received either a meeting code or a link for joining a Google Meet. (It doesn’t have to be a G Suite account.) All you need to join a Google Meet is a valid Google account. It’s just as simple of a process if you’re on the other side. How to Join a Google Meet Video Conference Click the “Admit” button to add them to the call. You’ll see the name associated with their Google Account. Once the user opens the link and clicks on the “Ask to Join” button, you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to invite them in. If you're on mute, simply tap the microphone icon at the bottom of the Hangouts call. Then click the “Send Email” button to send the invite. If your microphone doesn't seem to be working, make sure that it's selected in Google Hangouts' settings menu. You can either click “Copy Joining Info” to copy the text and the link to the call, or you can click the “Add people” button to invite Google users.įrom the “Add People” window, search and add contacts you want to invite. Google Meet video conference will now begin. Once you’re ready, click the “Join Now” button.
